Attorney Michael H. Cohen was quoted as a legal authority in FDA and FTC law in an article in the popular industry weekly “The Tan Sheet” (vol. 20, no. 35) about European herbal regulation entitled “UK Regulator’s Echinacea Action Sends Chills Through US Industry”.

Michael’s quote is, “Sometimes people say these things [products] are unregulated and it’s just not true – it’s a matter of where you look in the law for a deterrent or motivator, and failing to do a warning could result in a liability, which is a deterrent. It creates an incentive to keep up with proper warning labels, irrespective of what the government does.”
