Hello, this is Michael H. Cohen, founding attorney of Cohen Healthcare Law Group. I’d like to take this opportunity to express my appreciation and gratitude to you, to all of our clients who have been with us during the past year. It’s been about a year since the pandemic began, and fortunately, our business has continued to move along. We’ve been able to help many people expand their own health and wellness project and our team is growing. It’s been just a time of incredible transformation. I’ve been very lucky, my family has been lucky, and I feel a great blessing and I’m grateful.

I’ve had upheaval in other areas of my life, and fortunately have remained physically healthy. And again, I’m very glad to continue to be in a body and to do service to the world, a lot of which right now is in the form of Cohen Healthcare Law Group. Thank you to everyone. I know it’s been a really strange time. I call it the strange time. My staff has been working indoors, our clients have been inside, some people are in a very tiny space. We’ve had our client sessions, kids are in the background, our kids, your kids, and if you have more than one child, sometimes your partner is separating them because they’ve been in two smaller quarters for too long.

And it’s also been a great time. I think for me, the isolation has caused me to go within and to dig deep for my own inner resources. So it’s been a tremendous time of really inward-looking, a spiritual time of spiritual quest, a vision quest for me and that continues. I believe we’re on the cusp of a post-COVID world, and perhaps my work will shift and take a more humanitarian vein. And again, I’ve learned a lot about business, and we help businesses and businesses grow and provide services and products to help people.

It’s the way our capitalistic society functions, as my dad always told me. I credit him with being loving toward me when I was a rebellious Marxist during my sophomore years, but I hope I’ll be forgiven for that. And I hope I be forgiven if we’ve harmed anybody or fallen short in any way. We really want to do our best. I want to do my best for you because you matter to me, and I and my team, we don’t always see the constraints that you’re under. Your night sweats about financing or liability, or maybe you’re worried about the FDA or something.

I was a professor. I lived a life without risk. All I had to do is put hundreds of footnotes together, and it was all very tidy and safe, and now I’m on the front lines and my team is, my lawyers, and we’re helping you mitigate risk every single day. I don’t say it’s hair-raising. Thank God I still have hair, but I do need a good deal of cardio every day to make it through.

But we’re right there with you and we believe in what you’re doing and you have tremendous passion and zeal and desire to make profound changes that are going to help the world. The world needs a lot of healing and that’s why we do what we do. So, God bless you, thank you for being with us. We may seem like we’re very austere and working from a great distance but we send our love, and love is really a glue on my team. We don’t always talk about it, but it’s there. The inner life is there and that’s the glue that brings us together. And that’s how we work together to bring our best to you.
