Michael H Cohen was quoted in the Los Angeles Bar Journal in the Legal Forum: Malpractice Malaise, an appendix to Attorney, Heal Thyself.

The question was:

Health care groups are fighting a lawyer-backed push to ax or raise the state’s cap on medical malpractice awards. So the Business Journal asks: Should the cap be changed?

Michael responded:

Uncork the bottle. Let the genie out. Law must not coddle, nor fear the plaintiffs’ bar lout.

Injured persons deserve redress, not a chop at regulator’s behest. Rather, lift the cap–and let Lady Justice redraw the map.
