Cari Campbell is an astute and experienced healthcare attorney with over 15 years of expertise guiding hospitals, health systems, and physician groups through complex legal and regulatory challenges. Licensed in Wisconsin and Iowa, Cari holds a J.D. from Michigan’s Thomas M. Cooley Law School and is certified in healthcare compliance (CHC).
Professionally, she combines sharp legal insight with practical operational sensibility—adept at navigating Stark Law, physician compensation structures, clinical research protocols, and multi-entity restructuring. Cari brings clarity and calm into the boardroom, where she skillfully balances regulatory risk and competing priorities.
In prior in-house roles, Cari provided regulatory counsel for a major health system and served as senior counsel to Walmart’s Specialty Health and Wellness division—overseeing legal strategy in 50 states and Puerto Rico and ensuring that expansive business initiatives remained compliant with healthcare guardrails.
Cari’s broad practice includes:
- Drafting and negotiating medical director agreements, clinical trial and research compliance frameworks, and SaaS or vendor contracts
